Keep that face covered. The Cover tool in the cinemaOS Fix room places a blur, bar or pixelate region over a face and tracks it through the shot. This tutorial covers three faces on a moving shot.
Steps
- Open Cover. Open Fix, then Cover, on the selected clip. Choose blur, bar or pixelate for the treatment you need.
- Position and size the cover. Place the cover over the face and size it so movement stays contained. The recording uses a 28 percent overhang.
- Track both ways. Track forwards and backwards from the reference frame. Review the tracked region through the whole shot.
- Check the difficult moments. Look at turns, occlusions and the first and last frames. Adjust any point where the cover drifts or exposes the face.
Notes
- Three face regions are tracked across 120 samples from a middle reference frame in the recording.
- Tracking helps, but this is a workflow demonstration, not a guarantee of automatic anonymisation. A full-shot review is essential.
