Change that title. Titles made in the cinemaOS CREATE room are live: you can change the words, the typeface and the timing at any point in the edit. This tutorial adds a lower third and edits it twice.

Steps

  1. Add a lower third. Open CREATE, choose Titles, then Lower Thirds, and add a lower third to the sequence. The recording uses the Clean Name design.
  2. Edit the words and the typeface. Change the text and choose the typeface (Space Grotesk in the recording). Keep the title low in the picture, with space around the people in the shot.
  3. Keep it live. A new CREATE title is already live. Make Live is for compatible titles rendered by earlier versions of cinemaOS; you do not need it for titles you create now.
  4. Change it again and review. Change the text once more and play it in the sequence. Check the duration and the way it sits over the picture.

Notes

  • Make Live converts eligible legacy rendered titles into editable live titles. It is not available on a title that is already live, so the recording does not show a conversion.
